A big thank you to our MInister Search Committee for all their work interviewing and selecting our new minister!
The Ministerial Search Committee has been meeting monthly and sent the final Ministerial Vacancy Package to the Board for final approval. The Board approved the package and sent this to Unity Worldwide Ministries the week of February 6, 2023. One candidate has been forwarded to the Board.
The Visioning Session determined the following top priorities:

Our New Minister!
Welcome Rev. Charles!
The UOB Board of Trustees is very pleased to announce that there is now a fully signed contract with Rev. Charles Perry to be our new Sr. Minister!! His first official day with us will be September 11. Rev. Denese will remain with us through September 21 allowing for transition time between them. A formal hand off will take place on Sunday, Sept 17 with a Transition Ceremony. Please come on September 17 to join us in appreciation for Rev. Denese and to warmly welcome Rev. Charles.

Thank you for participating in the candidate weekend for Rev. Charles on July 15 and 16. The results are in!
Relative to being a speaker, 92% of you said Rev. Charles was a Strong (*9, 10) or High (7, 8) match for you with 42 out of 43 attendees saying “yes” you’d like to hear him again.
For the workshop, 85% of you said he was a Strong (9, 10) or High (7, 8) match for you with all 20 of attendees saying “yes” they’d take a workshop from him again.
Overall, results were very positive. Thank you for taking the time to share comments. Each comment was read by Board members and considered when the Board met on July 20 to debrief and discuss next steps.
