Welcome to Unity of Bellevue!
No matter where you come from, or where your journey has taken you, you are welcome at Unity of Bellevue.
It is our desire to offer Sunday celebration services that are joyful, enriching, and encouraging. Our worship is devoted to spirit-enhancing music, a meditation, and a lesson. Since Unity is based on the wisdom teachings of Jesus, our focus will always be on the Truth that "the kingdom is within" and that means within you. And, as a child of God, you are entitled to a full life of joy.
If your seeking has brought you to this page, we affirm that this is a "divine appointment" and look forward to meeting you soon!

"The Physics of Truth: Exploring the Spiritual Realm of Quantum Physics"
Guest Speaker: Doug Stearns
Music with Greg Sebastian & Ria Cherie with Michael Ludvig
In what may be greatest scientific discovery of all time, physicists have discovered an inner boundary to the physical universe. Beyond it is a region scientists call the Planck realm, named after a German physicist, the father of quantum physics. However, physicists weren’t the first to discover it. Two-thousand years ago Jesus discovered the same realm. He called it the Kingdom of Heaven and he taught us how we can rediscover it for ourselves.
Doug Stearns, a member of Unity of Bellevue’s board of directors, has spent much of his adult life studying the physics of Truth and blogs about it on his website, physicsoftruth.com. He believes exploring Truth from both a Unity-based spiritual perspective and from the direction of physics can help build deep spiritual roots. Join with him Sunday to learn how this knowledge can help us release fear and begin to Trust Life to guide us and protect us wherever our visions lead us.

NANCY’S THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK
This past Sunday (January 22), I invited you, I challenged you, to commit "The Jesus Creed" to memory and to say it for 30 days: every morning when you get up - every evening before you go to sleep - and any time it comes to mind during the day. It will change your life forever - for the good. This prayer contains the "Sh'ma" - the first prayer that Jewish children are taught to say: "Hear O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength." Jesus transformed this prayer by adding something: "Love your neighbor as yourself." Jesus joins love your neighbor as yourself with loving God with every fiber of your being. Making the love of others part of his own version of the Sh'ma shows that Jesus sees love of others as central to spiritual formation. Scot McKnight wrote a book The Jesus Creed: Loving God, Loving Others if you're interested in reading more about this transformational prayer. So here's to 30 days of loving God and loving others; especially important as we start our "Season for Peace & Nonviolence." Let's see what happens. It just might change your world!
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29-31)
AFFIRMATIONS FOR THE WEEK:
I am a center of God-energy, the Light.
It flows into this world through my thoughts.
My thoughts give human shape to the Light.
I focus on positive, constructive thoughts.
As the Light flows through me, I am protected.
I Trust Life in all I do.
